DORDONI and GUILLAUMIER
Architect and designer Rodolfo Dordoni was born in Milan, where he graduated in Architecture.
Responsible over the years for the art direction of Artemide (glass collection), Cappellini (from 1979 to 1989), FontanaArte (furniture collection), Foscarini (lamps), Minotti (from 1997 until today) and Roda (since 2006), he designs for various companies, including: Artemide, Cappellini, Cassina, Ceramica Flaminia, Ceramiche Mutina, Dada, Dornbracht, Driade, Effegibi, Emu, Ernestomeda, Fantini, Fiam Italia, Flos, Flou, FontanaArte, Foscarini, Jab, Kartell, Kettal, knIndustrie, MDF Italia, Minotti, Molteni&C, Moroso, Olivari, Pamar, Poliform, Poltrona Frau, Roda, RB Rossana, Salvatori, Sambonet, Serralunga, Tecno, Venini. Dordoni Architetti works in the field of architectural planning and interior design in the residential, commercial and exhibition areas designing projects of private houses and villas, industrial and commercial spaces overseeing the realization of showrooms, exhibition stands, restaurants, hotels.
Gordon Guillaumier was born in Malta and educated in Switzerland, England and Italy. He graduated in industrial design at the IED and later a masters at the Domus Academy in Milan. In 2002 he set up his own design studio in Milan, working on product design, design consulting and interior design. As art director, he collaborated with: Driade, Dornbracht Interiors, Fiam, Roda, Pamar and Ceramiche Piemme. As a product designer, he has worked for international companies; tableware for Bosa, Paola C and De Vecchi; furniture for Arketipo, CasaMilano, Desalto, De Sede, Fontana Arte, Frag, Gebrüder Thonet Vienna, Matteo Grassi, Montina, Minotti, Moroso, Lema, Roda, Tacchini, and Varaschin; lighting for Foscarini and OLuce; appliances for Elica, handles for Pamar; bathroom accessories for Nobili Rubinetterie, Azzurra Ceramiche, Kronos Ceramiche and Ceramiche Piemme. His works in interior design are mainly focused on residential projects whereby his studio has developed architecture and interiors for private clients. His work is regularly featured in the international design press.
